Mechanical Engineer with Masters in Material Science and Mathematics, as well as a Doctorate degree in Manufacturing Procedures

Paschalis Charalampous obtained his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013, 2015, and 2018, respectively.


He has published thirty-one scientific articles in international scientific journals and thirty-three in the proceedings of international conferences, accumulating 822 citations and achieving the following impact indices: h-index: 17 and i10-index: 21 (source: Google Scholar).


Throughout his research career, he has worked on 16 research programs (3 Horizon, 3 ΕΔΚ, 8 industry collaborations, and 2 with CERN).


He has also undertaken independent teaching responsibilities, including courses in Industrial Design, Manufacturing Technologies, and 3D Printing at the Department of Interior Architecture and the Department of Production and Management Engineering of the International Hellenic University, as well as at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.


His primary scientific interests include Industrial Design, Manufacturing Technologies, Programming, Materials Science, and 3D Printing.


He serves as a reviewer for numerous international scientific journals, including Additive Manufacturing (Elsevier), Rapid Prototyping Journal (Emerald), Applied Sciences (MDPI), and Computers in Industry (Elsevier).


Lastly, he has collaborated with prominent research organizations such as CERN, the Fraunhofer Institute, as well as major industries like BOSCH and KLEEMANN.
