The course examines relationships between space, form, vocabularies and representations in architectural design and related fields. It also encourages varieties of manipulations (architectural and artistic) within abstract narratives, meanings and interpretations.
It is organized in two axes, (i) theoretical/conceptual and (ii) applied/design. The two parts are interconnected and both aim to the completion of synthetic/design proposal/project.
Then the students prepare a comprehensive study [project], making use of the theoretical texts that have been analyzed in the course.
